HERCVLI R OM ANO AVG around, Commodus as Hercules standing beside trophy, (S.5646, RIC 254a, RSC 202, BMC 346A) (illustrated); Vespasian, (A.D. 69-79), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 74, (3.15 g), obv. laureate head of Vespasian to right, around IMP CAESAR VESPASIANVS AVG, rev. Vespasian seated to right holding branch and sceptre, PON MAX TR P COS V around, (cf.S.2300, RIC 77, RSC 364). Fine - good fine. (2)
