Lucius Verus, (A.D. 161-169), AE dupondius, issued 168, Rome mint, (12.67 g), obv. L AVREL VERVS AVG ARM[ENIACVS], radiate head to right, rev. Roma standing to left, holding Victory and trophy, around TR POT V IMP II COS II, S C across field, (S.-, RIC 1425, C.187). Somewhat irregular flan, weakness in parts of legend, otherwise nearly very fine and scarce.
