Venus standing right, holding apple and drawing out fold from drapery, around VENERI GENETRICI (S.3924, RIC H396, RSC 73, BMC 944); Hadrian, (A.D. 117-138), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 134-8, (3.31 g), obv. laureate head of Hadrian to right, around HADRIANVS AVG COS III PP, rev. Hadrian veiled standing to left, sacrificing with patera over tripod, around VOTA PVBLICA, (S.3550, RIC 290, RSC 1481, BMC 780) (illustrated); another issued 128, Rome mint, (3.10 g), obv. laureate bust to right of Hadrian, drapery on far shoulder, around HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS, rev.
