Titus, (80 A.D.), silver denarius, Rome Mint, (2.99 g), obv. laureate head of Titus to right around IMP TITVS CAES VESPASIAN AVG P M outwards, rev. TR P IX IMP XV COS VIII P P around, curule chair on which is a wreath,(Cf.S.2516, RSC 318, BMC 66, RIC 25a), (illustrated); another, Rome Mint, (3.37 g), obv. laureate head of Titus to left around IMP TITVS CAES VESPASIAN AVG P M outwards, rev. TR P IX IMP XV COS VIII P P, two captives (man right & woman left), seated back to back on ground between and behind them a trophy, (cf.S.2511, RSC 307, BMC p.230n, RIC 21b), (illustrated); another, Rome Mint, (3.18 g), obv. Laureate head of Titus to right around IMP TITVS CAES VESPASIAN AVG P M outwards, rev. TR P IX IMP XV COS VIII P P, tripod with fillets streaming out left and right, on which are ravens right and left and in centre dolphin over wreath, (Cf.S.2518, RSC 323a, BMC 82, RIC 27a). Nearly fine - very fine, some scarce. (3)
