Vespasian, (A.D. 69-79), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 74, (3.58 g), obv. laureate head of Vespasian to right, around IMP CAESAR VESPASIAN[VS AVG], rev. Vespasian seated to right holding branch and sceptre, PON MAX TR P COS V around, (cf.S.2300, RIC 702, RSC 364). Lightly toned, well centred, good very fine - good fine, scarce.
