Nero, (66-67 A.D.), silver denarius, Rome Mint, (3.13 g), obv. laureate head of Nero bearded to right around IMP NERO CAESAR AVGVSTVS, rev. IVPPITER [CVSTOS], Jupiter, bare to waist, seated left on throne, right hand holds thunderbolt, left hand long sceptre, (cf.S.1930, RSC 121, BMC p.210n, RIC 53); another of Claudius and Agrippina Junior, (50-54 A.D.), as a cast copy of a silver denarius, Rome Mint, (3.78 g), obv. TI CLAVD CAESAR AVG GERM P M TR[IB POT P P], laureate head of Claudius to right, rev. AGRIPPINAE AVGVSTAE, draped bust to right of Agrippina Junior wreathed with corn, (S.1886, RSC 4, BMC 75, RIC 81. First toned, with scratches on the reverse, very fine/fine, the copy fine. (2)
