Nero, (A.D. 54-68), silver denarius, issued c.65-66, Rome mint, (2.66 g), obv. laureate head to right of Nero, around traces of NERO CAESAR AVGVSTVS, rev. Salus seated to left on throne, holding patera, SALVS in exergue, (cf.S.1945, RIC 52, BMC 90, RSC 314); Nero, with Agrippina Junior, (A.D. 54-68), plated denarius (2.42 g), obv. Nero and Agrippina facing each other, bare head of Nero right; draped bust of Agrippina left, rev. EX S C within oak wreath, (S.2043, RIC 2; WCN 36; RSC 7). Both good - very good, second rare but plated. (2)
