Nero, (65-66 A.D.), silver denarius, Rome Mint, (3.03 g), obv. laureate head of Nero bearded to right around NERO CAESAR AVGVSTVS, rev. SALVS in exergue, Salus, draped, seated to left on throne, right hand holds patera, left hand resting at her side, (cf.S.1945, RSC 314, BMC 90, RIC 60); another silver denarius, Nero, (67-68 A.D.), Rome Mint, (3.13 g), obv. Laureate head of Nero bearded to right around IMP NERO CAESAR AVG P P, rev. Without legend Aquila (Roman eagle) between two vexilla (two standards), (S.1947, RSC 356, BMC 107, RIC 68).
