Claudius and Nero, (A.D. 41-54), silver denarius, issued A.D.50-54, Rome mint, (3.58 g), obv. laureate head of Claudius to right, around TI CLAVD CAESAR AVG GERM P M TRIB POT P P, rev. NERO CLAVD CAES DRVSVS GERM PRINC IVVENT, Nero bust, bare-headed and draped to left, (S.1890, RIC 83 [notes R2], BMC 80). Very fine/good very fine and very rare.
