Claudius, (A.D. 41-54), AE as, Rome mint, issued A.D. 41-2, (10.90 g), obv. bare head to left of Claudius around TI CLAVDIVS CAESAR AVG P M TR P IMP, rev. LIBERTAS AVGVSTA, S C across field, Libertas standing right holding pileus, (S.1859, RIC 97, C.47). Slight surface pitting, otherwise good very fine, with dealer ticket.
