Augustus, (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), AE dupondius or as, Nemausus mint, issued A.D. 10-14, (12.72 g), obv. laureate head of Agrippa to left and laureate head of Augustus to right, above IMP across P P, below [DIVI F], dotted border, rev. COL NEM on either side of palm-shoot, chained crocodile to right below, wreath above, two palm branches below, (S.1731, RIC 159, RPC 525, Sear GIC 158); Vespasian, (A.D. 69-79), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 73, (3.23 g), obv. laureate head of Vespasian to right, around IMP CAES VESP AVG CENS, rev. Vespasian seated to right, holding sceptre and branch, PONTIF MAXIM around, (cf.S.2305, RIC 546, RSC 387). Toning, fine - good very fine, significant edge damage to the Vespasian denarius. (2)
