C. Hosidius C.f. Geta, (68 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome Mint, (3.67 g), obv. Bust of Diana to right, draped, with bow and quiver over shoulder, behind III.VIR downwards, in front GETA downwards, rev. Boar to right, wounded by spear and attacked by hound, in exergue [C] HOSIDI C F, border of dots, (S.346, C.407/2, Syd 903, BMC 3388, RSC Hosidia 1); another L. Furiusus Cn.f. Brocchus, (63 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome Mint, (3.94 g), obv. head of Ceres to right, on left, side a corn ear, and on right side a barley grain, III, and VIR to right, below BROCCHI, border of dots, rev. Curule chair, on either side, fasces, above L. FVRI/ CN. F, border of dots, (S.365, C.414/1, Syd 902, BMC 3896, RSC Furia 23). Toned, good very fine and rare. (2)
