Egypt, Kingdom of, Ptolemy IV, (221-205 B.C.), AE 37 and 40, Alexandria mint, issued 221-205 B.C., (49.66, 47.86 [illustrated] g), obv. diademed head of Zeus Ammon to right, dotted border, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, head to right, standing on thunderbolt holding cornucopiae on shoulder, part around **BASILEWS PTOLEMAIOU*, between legs E, (S.7815, Sv.974, SNG Cop.224-6, Pitchfork 44-48). Good fine/fine and nearly very fine, brown patina. (2)
