Egypt, Kingdom of, Ptolemy IV, (221-205 B.C.), AE 36, Alexandria mint, issued 221-205 B.C., (38.41 g), obv. diademed head of Zeus Ammon to right, dotted border, rev. eagle to left with open wings, head to right, standing on thunderbolt, around **BASILEWS PTOLEMAIOU*, between legs **SE*, (S.7815, Sv.1148, SNG Cop.207, BMC 73-76, Koln 97, Pitchfork 40-42); another Ptolemy VI, (180-145 B.C.), AE 36, drachm, (42.07 g), Alexandria mint, issued year 170-145 B.C., obv. head of Zeus Amon to right wearing diadem, rev. two eagles to left with closed wings, standing on thunderbolt, in front a cornucopiae (removed), around **BASILEWS PTOLEMAIOU*, (S.7900, Sv.1424, SNG Cop 305-9, BMC 24-30); another AE 22 (11.22 g), uncertain Cyprus mint, obv. Zeus Ammon head right, rev. eagle standing left, lotus before, **EUL* between legs, (cf.S.7899, Sv.1397, BMC 18019, Pitchfork 90); another Cleopatra VII, (51-30 B.C.), forgery as a silver plated tetradrachm, Alexandria mint, struck year 10 = 43-42 B.C., (14.70 g), obv. head of Ptolemy to right with aegis, rev. eagle to left on thunderbolt with closed wings, to left LI above headress of Isis, to right **PA*, around **BASILEWS PTOLEMAIOU**, (cf.S.7952, cf.Sv.1824, cf.SNG Cop.404, cf.Pitchfork 140-142, cf.BMC 10-11).
