Egypt, Kingdom of, Ptolemy II, (285-246 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (14.22 g), Tyre mint, issued year 33 = 253-2 B.C., obv. head of Ptolemy I to right wearing aegis, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, standing on thunderbolt, in front club and **TRU* monogram, to right **LG* over MA monogram, **Q* between legs around **SWTHROS PTOLEMAIOU*, (cf.S.7773, Sv.675, BMC 91, cf.SNG Cop 490). Bright, slightly off centred, otherwise good very fine and very scarce.
