Phoenicia, Tyre, (c. 2nd century B.C. - 1st century A.D.), silver shekel or tetradrachm, (14.14 g), Tyre mint, issued year 32 = 95/4 B.C., obv. laureate head of Melqarth beardless to right, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, carrying a palm, standing on prow of ship, club to left, above B**L*, monogram HAP in right field, around **TUROU IER[AS] KAI ASULOU*, (S.5918, Cohen [p.509, reports date as R3, extremely rare ie. one example in 10 years], BMC 220 [this date], H.1618 [817]). Extremely fine and an extremely rare date.
