(undated), silver didrachm, (6.23 g), obv. laureate, head to right, of Nerva, rev. two clasped hands holding standard on prow (this very weak), (cf.S.947, BMC 44 [p.51], Syd, 146 [p.55]); another similar (5.74 g), obv. laureate, head to right, of Nerva, rev. bust of Amazon to left. with long curls, over shoulder a bipennis, (S.-, Sydenham 148 (p.57), rev. Num. 1895 p.69); Syria, Coele-Syria, Damascus, Commodus?, (177-192 A.D), issued c.170-176 A.D.?, AE 25, (10.83 g), obv. ..O.. youthful bust to right, laureate and draped of Commodus? rev. COL DAMA..R around, bust of Tyche of Damascus to left, draped, with cornucopiae behind shoulder, (S.-); Phoenicia, Tyre, Gallienus, (253-268 A.D), issued c.253-260 A.D., AE 30, (19.33 g), obv. around IMP C P LIC GALLIENVS AVG, radiate bust to right, wearing paludamentum and cuirass of Gallienus, rev. COL T [VR] OM E TR around, bust of Kadmos, nude to waist, running right, looking back and beckoning with right hand, in left he holds spear, in field to left a murex-shell (illustrated), (BMC 489 [p.294 Pl.XXXV,2]). Mostly about fine, last nearly very fine, several rare. (4)
