Thessaly, Pharsalos, (4th century B.C.), silver obol, (0.79 g), obv. head of Athena to left with crested Attic helmet, A behind, rev. horse's head to r., **L* below, letters of city **F A R S* around, (S.-, cf.Lavva 162a, cf.BCD Thessaly II 670.2); another, (0.89 g), rev. head and neck of horse right within incuse circle, (unpublished in the standard references, same dies as CNG E294/142); Phakion, (3rd century B.C.), AE trichalkon, (6.97 g), obv. diademed head of nymph right, **FAKI-ASTO-[N]* above, rev. rider advancing right in chlamys and short chiton, raising his right hand in salute, below, wheat ear with two leaves, pointing diagonally down, (Papaevangelou Group II, 17a [Same obverse die as Triton XV/566]) (illustrated); Melitaia, (late 4th century B.C.), AE chalkous, (3.18 g). obv. laureate head of Zeus to left, border of dots, rev. M-E above, **LI* below, bee upwards, with outstretched wings, (Rogers 396); Herakleia Trachineia, (3rd century BC), AE dichalkon (2.95 g), obv. head of lion left with tongue protruding, rev. upright club, **HPA* to left, **AP* to right, all within wreath, (Rogers 255 var, cf.SNG Copenhagen 68 var, BCD Thessaly II -, BCD Thessaly I -, BMC -, McClean -,). Toned, nearly very fine - good very fine, some rare. (5)
