Hygieia, standing to right, holding and feeding snake from a patera which is in her hand (S.-, Varbanov 3375); another Caracalla, (198-217 A.D.), issued 211-217 A.D., AE 28, (10.20 g), obv. Laureate, bearded head to right, of Caracalla, rev. Eagle, standing facing head to right holding wreath in beak, with spread wings, (Varbanov 3496, BMC 19 [p.119]),; another Gordian III, (238-244 A.D.), issued 238-244 A.D., AE 24, (7.42 g), obv. Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust to right, of Gordian III, rev. Nike, standing to left, holding wreath in right hand and palm in left, (S.-, Varbanov 4019). Fine or better, generally scarce. (3)
