Italy, Campania, Neapolis (Naples), (c.340-240 B.C.), silver stater or didrachm, (7.22 g), obv. head of nymph to right, bunch of grapes behind, X before, rev. man-headed bull walking to right, crowned by Nike flying right above, below bull K, in exergue NEOPOLITWN, (cf.S.307, Sambon 472, SNG ANS 362 [same dies]). Unusual, almost full flan, toned, nearly very fine and scarce.
