Italy, Campania, Neapolis (Naples), (c.340-240 B.C.), silver stater or didrachm, (7.22 g), obv. head of nymph to right, eagle to right behind, **DI* below, wreath to right, rev. bull walking to right, crowned by Nike flying right above, below dolphin, **LO* to right, below exergue **NEOPOLITHS*, (cf.S.307, Sambon 448, SNG ANS 321 [same dies], SNG Cop. 402 [same dies]). Toned, well centred, nearly very fine and a scarce symbol.
