Justinian I, (527-565), solidus, issue of 552-565, Ravenna mint, (4.43 grams), obv. helmeted and cuirassed bust facing, holding cross on globe, around DN IVSTINI ANVS PP AVI, rev. Angel standing facing holding long cross with chi-rho at top end, and cross on globe, around VICTORI A AVCCCE, in exergue CONOB, star in right field, (S.312 [£750], cf.DOC. [333], Hahn Type 37). Full flan, well centred about as struck, neartly uncirculated the mint very rare, this Officina unpublished.
