Arcadius, (A.D. 383-408), gold solidus, Constantinople mint, issued 383-388, obv. rosette diademed draped and cuirassed bust of Arcadius to right, around D N ARCADI VS P F AVG, rev. Constantinopolis helmeted seated facing, head to right on throne, holding sceptre and shield inscribed VOT V MVL X, CONCORDI A AVGGG**Q around, in exergue CONOB, (S.4219, RIC 70c.5). Extremely fine and very rare.
