Ohai Railway Board, train ticket no. D5781 for single, 1 to 8 miles, 6d, from Wairio to Reed's, unused; Sleeping-berth Order for Wives of Members of Parliament, order no.1065, not to be used after 31st December 1941, named to Mrs T.D.Burnett, unused; NAC Express Denedin freight sticker, c1960s, unused; NAC Freightair Wellington freight sticker, c1960s unused. The first with slight mark on top right corner, otherwise all uncirculated, the last two with full gum. (4)
The Ohai Railway line from Wairio to Reed's was a private rail line in Southland. It is now closed.
Thomas Burnett was the Reform Party member (1919-1935) and then National Party member (from 1935) for the rural Temuka electorate until his death on 30 November 1941.
NAC (National Airways Corp) operated from 1947 - 1978 when it amalgamated with Air New Zealand.
