VAN DIEMEN'S LAND, Weavell, John, One Shilling, Hobart Town, January 8 1824 No 53, (note mentioned in Vort Ronald Colonial Currency & Promissory Notes p.121). A series of minute holes (silverfish?) but a full and clear note, toned nearly very fine and rare.

Ex Noble Numismatics Sale 71 (lot 2855), previously Spink Australia Sale 9 (lot 1084) and Walsgott Collection Max Stern Auction Sale October 1975 (lot 722 part).
