Trio: 1914-15 Star; British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19. 90 Pte G.G.Ryan. 2/LH. Rgt. A.I.F. on first medal (note number 2 is inverted), 90 Pte G.G.Ryan 3 L.H.Rgt. A.I.F. on last two medals. All medals impressed. Some contact marks on second medal, otherwise good very fine.

Together with Anzac Commemorative Medallion 1915, issued 1967, in bronze (50x75mm) (C.1915/3), named to G.G.Ryan.

George Gordon Ryan, carpenter, age 21, born at Blackwood, Sth Aust; Enl.20Aug1914 in 3LHR at Fort Largs, Sth Aust with 3 years service in 10th AGA (note Attestation Papers marked 'For Trumpeter' as applicant only 5 feet 3 « inches); Emb.22Oct1914; to Gallipoli 09May1915; shell shock 10Aug1916; 16Jul1917 severely reprimanded for committing an offence against the person of a resident of the country in which he was serving in that he at Cairo on 30 June 1917 struck Madam E.Borovess and her sister; RTA 15Nov1918 and Disemb.24Dec1918; Disch.17Mar1919.
