Vespasian, (A.D. 69-79), AE sestertius, (24.47 g), Rome mint, struck 71 AD. obv. laureate head right, around IMP CAES VESPASIANVS AVG P M TR P P P COS III, rev. Libertas standing left, holding pileus and sceptre, around LIBERTAS PVBLICA, S C across field, (S.2328, RIC II 82, BMCRE 547, C.252). Good fine with a dark green patina, reverse tooled.
