Phoenicia, Arados, (2nd-1st century B.C., but dated era of Arados as year 128 = 132/131 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (15.20 g), obv. turreted and veiled bust of Tyche to right dotted border, rev. Nike standing to left, holding aphlaston and palm-branch, **ARADIWN* to right, to left HKP (year 128 = 132/1 B.C.), over 'G' over **DN*, all within laurel wreath, (S.5992, BMC 180, Duyrat 3030, Cohen 4.2.6 [p.425]). Lightly toned, good very fine and very scarce.
