Attica, Athens, (166-57 B.C.), silver drachm, (4.07 g), issued 166-5 B.C., (Thompson date) but probably 134-3 B.C. (revised chronology), obv. head of Athena Parthenos to right wearing triple-crested Athenian helmet, ornamented with Pegasus, rev. owl standing to right, head facing, in erect posture, on prostrate amphora, to left anchor, legend across **A QE, TI - MAR/NIKA/ARC*, uncertain on amphora, (cf.S.2560, cf.Thompson 369 but with additional letters MAP this type not noted). Nearly very fine and apparently unpublished.
