Macedon, Kingdom of Philip II, (359-336 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (14.00 g), Amphipolis III mint, issued c. 323/2-316/5 B.C., obv. head of Zeus laureate to right, dotted border, rev. naked youth or small man (Philip II or jockey), on horseback to right, laurel wreath as a crown below, and **L* below right, above **FILIP POU*, (cf.S.6683, Le Rider Pl.45, 22, SNG ANS 606 [similar dies], M.221). Lightly toned, good very fine and very scarce.
