Romanus I bust facing, legend around, holding labarum transversely and cross on globe, rev. four lined legend, naming Romanus as king of the Romans, (S.1760, DOC 25, BMC 14-29), overstruck on an earlier coin; Constantine VII, (A.D. 913-959), AE follis, issued 945-950, Constantinople mint, (6.60 g), obv. facing bust of Constantine, legend around, rev. four line legend, naming Constantine as king of the Romans, (S.1761, DOC 26, BMC 45-57) (Illustrated) off centred obverse; Constantine X Ducas, (A.D. 1059-1067), AE follis, Constantinople mint, (5.30 g), obv. Christ standing on footstool, wearing nimbus, rev. Eudocia on left and Constantine on right, both standing facing holding between them a labarum with cross on shaft, resting on three steps, (S.1853, DOC 8, BMC 18-31). Good fine - very fine, scarce.
