Zeugitania, Carthage, African Revolt (Libya), (c.241-238 B.C.), billon didrachm or shekel, (7.79 g), obv. head of Herakles left wearing lion skin, rev. **LIBUWN* in exergue, lion walking right, Punic "M" above. (S.6544, Carradice & La Niece, "The Libyan War and Coinage," Num. Chron 1988, 1, MAA 53, SNG Cop. 239; Muller 349). Flan edge crack, very fine and rare.

Ex CNG 69, Mail Bid Sale 69, 8 June 2005, (lot 745), coming from the Garth R. Drewry Collection, previously from the Dr. J.S. Wilkinson Collection sold by Joel L.
