Zeugitania, Carthage, African Revolt (Libya), (c.241-238 B.C.), billon didrachm or shekel, (8.04 g), obv. head of young Hercules to left, clad in lion skin, rev. lion prowling to right, above Punic letter "M", (cf.S.6543, Robinson, Num. Chron. (1953) No. 22, [p.29 Pl.III, 4], SNG Cop. 241-2). Full flan, well centred, rough surface from cleaning, otherwise nearly very fine and rare.
