Zeugitania, Carthage, African Revolt (Libya), (c.241-238 B.C.), billon didrachm or shekel, (6.80 g), obv. head of young Hercules to left, clad in lion skin, rev. lion prowling to right, missing above Punic letter "M", (cf.S.6543, Robinson, Num. Chron. (1953) No. 22, [p.29 Pl.III, 4], SNG Cop. 241-2). Flan crack, rough surface, overstruck on earlier piece, otherwise very fine and rare.
