Zeugitania, Carthage, (possibly Siculo-Punic), (c.208-202 B.C.), the time of the First Punic War, silver drachm or half shekel, (3.45 g), obv. head of Tanit to left wearing corn wreath, dotted border, rev. horse standing to right on exergual line with head reverted, (cf.S.6498 [p.601], cf.Alexandropoulos 96 [Pl.3, p.386]). Nearly very fine, short on flan, rare.
