Siculo-Punic, mint of the camp, (c.300-290 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.62 g), obv. head of young Melqart or Heracles wearing lion skin to right, rev. horse's head to left, palm tree behind, caduceus before, Punic legend 'MHSBM' below, border of dots, (S.6436, SNG Lloyd 1651 [same obverse die], Jenkins SNR 57, [Series 5b] 329-331/362 [same dies, O107/R295], SNG Fitz. 1491 [same obverse die]). Bright with light porosity near edge, otherwise, nearly extremely fine and very rare variant.
