Parthia, Kingdom of, Vardanes II, (c.A.D. 55-58), billon tetradrachms, (12.10, 14.09, 10.76 g), Seleucia mint, first issued uncertain month of year 369 (Seleucid era) = A.D. 57-58, another same date month **[PA]NHMOU* (June), another uncertain date, obv. large size bare-headed bust to left with very short beard, wearing diadem, four waves on hair, rev. king enthroned to left receiving diadem from Tyche holding sceptre, eight line inscription, including year **QET*, and month in exergue mostly off the flan, (S.5806, cf.Sellwood 69.10-12, Shore 383). Very good - good fine. (3)
