Thrace, Kingdom of, Lysimachos, (305-281 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.76 g), uncertain mint, issued shortly after 282/1 B.C., obv. head of Alexander to right, with diadem and horn of Ammon, within dotted circle, rev. Athena Nikephoros enthroned to left, supporting Nike, **DAI* monogram to left, **AIS* monogram in exergue, to right **[BA]SILEWS*, to left **LUSIMACOU*, (cf.S.6814, Thompson -, Meydancikkale -, Armenak -, M.498). Lightly toned, off centred on reverse, nearly extremely fine/good very fine and very rare.
