Ancient coins, a small group including Gordian III, (A.D. 238-244), silver antoninianus, Rome mint, issued 243-4, obv. radiate bust right, around IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG, rev. FORT REDVX, Fortuna seated left, holding rudder and cornucopiae, (S.8612, RIC 143, RSC 97); a Trajan sestertius rev. Pax with Dacian at feet, another dupondius with rev. ALIM ITAL in exergue; Greek, Macedon, Mende AE 16, obv. Dionysos head right, rev. amphora, (cf.SNG ANS 382ff); Islamic, AE fals Umayyad Post Reform issue from Al-Rakka mint, obv. palm branch in centre, rev. crescent and dot in centre, (BMC 855 p.257, Pl.XXVIII). First and last coins very fine, others poor - fair. (5)
