Gordian III, (A.D. 238-244), silver antoninianus, Rome mint, issued 241, (3.54 g), obv. radiate bust right, around IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG, rev. CONCORDIA MILIT, Concordia seated to left, holding patera and cornucopiae, (S.8606, RIC 65, RSC 62); another a large fragment and pieces, (total weight (1.97 g), rev. Virtus; Salonina, wife of Gallienus, (died A.D. 268), billon antoninianus, Cologne mint, (3.12 g), obv. diademed veiled and draped bust of Salonina to right on crescent, around SALONINA AVG, rev. Venus standing right, holding sceptre and child (or Cupid) at feet, around VENVS FELIX, (S.10656, cf.RIC 65, RSC 117); another similar (2.70 g), rev. Pudicitia standing left, holding transverse sceptre, (S10648, RIC 24, RSC 92). Poor - good very fine. (3)
