Lucilla, wife of Lucius Verus, (Augusta 164-182 A.D.), sestertius AE 27-28mm, (23.01 g), struck under Marcus Aurelius, obv. LVCILLA AVGVSTA, draped bust of Lucilla to right, hair elaborately waved and fastened in chignon low on back of head, rev. I V N O around, S C across, Juno, veiled, draped, seated left on low seat, holding patera in extended right hand and vertical sceptre in left, (S.5501, BMCRE IV p.577, 1204 and pl.77.15, C.35, RIC III p.353, 1746). Very fine or better, rare.
