Description
HMAS Sydney timber, used to make desk set (38x18cm), felt under base, features a pen holding section with two metal inlays, spaces for ink wells but no glass inkwells, with metal inlay at the sides, in the centre is inset a square blue enamel plate with a naval crown and the words, 'Wood From H.M.A.S. Sydney'. Toned and stained timber, otherwise fine.
