Together with a rare book, Nulli Secundus, A History of the Second Battalion, A.I.F. 1914-1919, compiled by F.W.Taylor and T.A.Cusack, 1942, hard cover (15x22.5cm), 357pp, fly page with name C.F.T.Jackson; also official WWII medal entitlement form for NX126752 C.F.T.Jackson and a French Happy New Year card to Mr Jackson and looking to welcome him to France in 1983, signed C.Durand.
Charles Herbert Cane, labourer, age 21, born at Bateman's Bay, NSW; Enl.21Oct1914 at Liverpool, NSW; Emb. with 2 Bn and to Gallipoli; MIA 02May1915 and following Board of Enquiry now KIA 27Apr1915 at Gallipoli.
