This publication is one of the most comprehensive of Medina's works, listing and describing thoroughly 165 pieces of money. He relates the history of the mints in Latin America, biographies of Spanish monarchs, engravers and a history of Chile after the revolution. Less than fifteen copies are believed to have survive.
