Family group: Father: Shanghai Jubilee Medal 1893 in silver. Son: 1914-15 Star; British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19; Defence Medal 1939-45; War Medal 1939-45; Shanghai Municipal Council Emergency Medal 1937; Shanghai Municipal Police (Specials) Long Service Medal 1929. Father's medal engraved on back 'Hugh Middleton' and around edge 'Presented by the Shanghai Municipality. Son's medals - 2 Lieut H.Middleton York R on first medal, Capt H.Middleton on second and third medals, Sergeant 191 H.Middleton on last medal. First three medals impressed, fourth to sixth unnamed, last medal engraved. Very fine and extremely rare.
