According to Gresham 'This is one of the mosat comprehensive of Medina's works, listing and describing thoroughly 165 pieces of money. Medina relates the history of the mints in Latin America, biographies of the Spanish monarchs during whose reign the money was issued, biographies of the engravers, and a history of Chile after the revolution began; 238 pages of documents are included in this massive work.
