Australia, original WWII slouch hat with puggaree and this fitted with unit colour patch for Royal Australian Engineers, also with original Rising Sun hat badge, press stud button to hold side of hat in raised position and original chin strap, date on inside band is 1944. Some light moth eaten areas as usual, otherwise very fine and very scarce in such original state.
