MARCUS AURELIUS, (A.D. 161-180), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 164, (3.20 g), obv. bare head of Marcus Aurelius to right, around ANTONINVS AVG ARMENIACVS, rev. around P M TR P XVIII IMP II COS III, Mars standing to right, resting on spear and shield, (S.4910, BMC 261, RIC 91, RSC 468). Blue and gold patination, good very fine and scarce.
