A.I.F. on second medal, 3170 L-Cpl J.H.Wilson 2 Bn. A.I.F. on last medal. All medals impressed. Ribbon on first medal damaged, otherwise very fine.
John Henry Wilson, paper cutter, age 30, born at Pyrmont, Sydney, NSW; Enl.05Aug1915 at Liverpool, NSW; Emb.08Oct1915; Tfr to 54 Bn 14Feb1916; captured at Battle of Fleurbaix in France 20Jul1916; reported as wounded and in Ohrdruf Hospital in Germany on 23Aug1916; 03May1917 reported as interned at Gefangenenlager, Lazarett, Ohrdruf, in Thuringen, Germany; repatriated to England 10Jan1919; RTA 05Apr1919; Disch.26Aug1919.
