M. PAPIRIUS CARBO, (c.122 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.87 g), obv. head of Roma to right, laurel branch behind, X under chin, rev. Jupiter in quadriga to right, M.CARB[O] below, ROMA in exergue, (S.151, Cr.276/1, Syd.423, RSC Papiria 6). Toned, very fine and scarce.
